PVC Coated Wire Mesh (also known as PVC coated chain link fence or vinyl coated welded wire mesh, depending on the weave type) is a durable fencing material made from galvanized steel wire that is coated with a layer of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for extra protection.

The galvanization provides rust resistance, while the outer PVC coating (usually green, black, or other colors) adds:
